• Use flash both on- and off-camera to control the light
• Continuous light and flash
• Through-the-lens (TTL) flash metering
• High Speed Sync (HSS)
• Manual mode for complete lighting control
• Using the histogram for perfect exposure
• Bare bulbs, reflectors, softboxes, and beauty dishes
• Posing portrait subjects for flattering photos (including etiquette & communication)

• Outdoor flash portrait photography (weather permitting)
• Fashion & beauty lighting: clamshell, edge lighting, beauty dish with reflector
• Commercial look: hard light, gels, dramatic shadows
• Use of props, backgrounds, and styling to enhance story
• Tony demonstrates live tethered shoot with commentary on directing, posing, and creative decisions
