Questions
Which option is right for me?
Choose the recorded critique if you want detailed feedback on a set of photos that you can watch, and rewatch, at your own pace. Choose the Zoom call if you want a conversation: follow-up questions, your goals, gear decisions or the business side of photography.
What skill level is this for?
Every level. Beginners get a clear list of what to work on first. Experienced photographers and working pros get a candid, detailed second opinion.
What kinds of photography do you review?
Any genre: portraits, events, wildlife, landscape, travel, street, product and more.
How do I send my photos?
For the recorded critique, paste a link at checkout to a shared folder or gallery. Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, Flickr or your own portfolio site all work; just make sure anyone with the link can view the photos. On a Zoom call, you can share your screen.
When are calls available?
I take calls from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time, seven days a week. My calendar shows only the times I’m actually free, and you can book as little as 12 hours ahead.
Can I reschedule my call?
Yes. Use the link in your confirmation email to reschedule, up to 12 hours before your call.
What do I need for the Zoom call?
A computer with a webcam and the free Zoom app, and a quiet place to talk. Have the photos you want to discuss ready to share.
Is this the same as a workshop?
No. Workshops are small-group, hands-on shoots in New York City. Mentorship is online and one-on-one, built entirely around your own work.
